2. Data collected
Device token for push notifications. This is a technical identifier generated by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) that allows notifications to be sent to the user's device. This token is not linked to the user's identity and does not allow personal identification.
Anonymous usage data (optional, native apps only). If the user enables the "Usage statistics" option in Settings → Privacy, the iOS and Android apps collect anonymous interaction data via Firebase Analytics: screens visited and basic navigation interactions. This option is disabled by default and requires explicit activation. No advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID) or any data linked to the user's identity are collected.
We do not collect names, email addresses or location data.
3. Purpose of processing
The data collected is used solely for the following purposes:
- Sending push notifications about content updates and highlighted days on the cycling calendar.
- Anonymous analysis of app usage to improve the service experience and performance (only if the user enables usage statistics).
4. Legal basis
Data processing is based on the explicit consent of the user (opt-in) for each purpose, in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Push notifications: consent is requested before enabling notifications in the app.
- Usage statistics: consent is given by manually enabling the option in Settings → Privacy → Usage statistics.
5. Data storage
The device token is stored in a PostgreSQL database managed through Supabase infrastructure. You can review Supabase's security and privacy practices at supabase.com/privacy.
Usage statistics data (when enabled) is processed and stored by Google LLC through Firebase Analytics and Google Analytics 4, in accordance with their privacy policy available at policies.google.com/privacy.
6. Retention period
The push notification token is retained as long as the user keeps notifications active. It is deleted immediately when the user taps "Delete my data" in the app. Usage statistics data is retained by Google in accordance with Google Analytics 4 retention settings (maximum 14 months). Collection stops as soon as the user disables the option.
7. User rights
Under the GDPR, users have the right to:
- Access: know what data is stored about their device.
- Rectification: request the correction of inaccurate data.
- Erasure: delete their data at any time.
- Objection: object to the processing of their data.
Data erasure can be exercised directly from the app, in Settings → Privacy → Delete my data. To exercise any other right, or to request erasure by other means, the user may contact hola@danisanchez.info.
Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority. In Spain: www.aepd.es (AEPD).
8. Data sharing with third parties
Push notification tokens are transmitted through Apple Push Notification service (APNs) on iOS and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) on Android as necessary technical intermediaries for notification delivery. Beyond this technical use, tokens are not shared with any other third party. Usage statistics data (only when enabled by the user) is processed by Google LLC through Firebase Analytics and Google Analytics 4 as a data processor. No advertising platforms, ad networks or data brokerage services are used.
9. Cookies, analytics and tracking
Native apps (iOS and Android): No advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID) or cross-app tracking mechanisms are used. The apps include Firebase Analytics for anonymous usage analysis, which is disabled by default. Users can enable it in Settings → Privacy → Usage statistics. Disabling it immediately stops any data collection.
Website: The site uses Google Analytics (GA4) for statistical traffic analysis, subject to the user's acceptance of cookies. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used.
10. Changes to this policy
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy to reflect legislative changes or changes in how the app works. Any changes will be published on this page with the corresponding update date.
For any questions about this policy, you can write to hola@danisanchez.info.
